Refresher Mindfulness Evening

Last night saw the sixth 'Refresher Mindfulness Evening' at the Widnes and Runcorn Cancer Support Centre. An evening to catch up with fellow students, learn new techniques and to go over ones that students may have forgotten. Nine students attended from various courses that I have run over the years. Good to see Linda, Jean, Laura, Sara, Tony, Michelle, Joan, Roseleene, and Alison. A very enjoyable evening had by all and we raised £81 for the Cancer Suport Centre The next Refresher evening will be at the end of April, dates to be arranged. Apologies for the photograph.

8 Week Mindfulness course MBSR

Our next Mindfulness course will be starting shortly on 5th February and will be running for the following eight weeks. The sessions start at 6pm and run to 8pm. The venue is at the Widnes and Runcorn Cancer Support Centre, Alforde Street, Widnes WA8 7TR There is a charge of £90 for the eight weeks, a deposit of £30 will secure your place on the course. I have run a number of these courses and found that the students find that they have enjoyed the course and found benefit from attending. Stress is a too familiar aspect of our fast paced life. It can be caused by a number of factors from relationships to our working employment, financial constraints, to our physical health and many other stressful issues that come up in our daily lives.
