Hypnotherapy Horizons Celebrating 10 years in Business
I cant believe its ten years now that I have been working as a hypnotherapist, time flies when your having fun. Yes Hypnotherapy Horizons came into being 18th March 2010.
I have enjoyed working to improve the quality of my service over the years and to extend the products on offer. As well as hypnotherapy for a number of issues from weight management to confidence building and fears / phobias to reducing anxiety. There is always a new issue or problem that keeps me on my toes.
The Tai Chi courses have been run in Widnes at Naughton Fields on a Friday and at Barkla Fields on a Tuesday, as from 23rd March there will be a new Tai Chi class starting on 23rd March in Frodsham.
Mindfulness
Five and half years ago I became qualified to teach Mindfulness in Widnes at the Cancer Support Centre and two years later I was asked if I would teach Mindfulness in Nature for Mersey Forest. A new challenge which I have enjoyed so much, working in Ellesmere Port, Ainsdale, Chester, Neston, Frodsham and Port Sunlight. To date there has been at least 40 classes run for eight weeks. Five further classes will be run in April and May.
It was fantastic to be part of this project(see below), leading the mindfulness section.
Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Natural Health Service has won the national award for Best Nature Based Public Health Project, sponsored by the Department of the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
Cheshire’s Natural Health Service, which is funded by Cheshire West and Chester Council and managed by The Mersey Forest, uses the county’s green spaces to keep residents healthy. The project has been running since 2017 and has helped to tackle local health inequalities within the borough, with nearly 3,000 participants taking part so far in group walking, mindfulness, horticulture therapy, healthy conservation and bushcraft. All these activities have taken place in the great outdoors across west Cheshire.
I would like to thank all my clients, students, the ones that allowed me to hire their facilities, and everyone who has support and encouraged me. I have met so many kind and interesting people on my journey.
I hope to continue all aspects of the business for many years to come. Here to the next ten years.
Thank you.
Bob
This was written over the weekend, since then all the classes and the venues where I have been practising hypnotherapy have now closed, I am now on gardening leave. A time to learn new techniques and improve the quality of the service. Looking forward now to when we are back to normal and the challenges of starting the business back up.
May I wish you well during in these uncertain and worrying times. A good time to start to look after yourself and maybe try Mindfulness meditations, I have put a few meditations/visualisations on 'Soundcloud' Click on https://soundcloud.com/hypnotherapy-horizons
Hopefully over the next few weeks I'll be putting further ones on. Maybe a good one to start with is the 'Loving Kindness meditation'
