Thank You for making 2019 a 'Great Year'

2019 has been a very busy year, and I would like to thank you for being part and your support. Mindfulness Matters have extended the number of courses available.

For the second year we have run 8 courses at the Neston Community and Youth Centre. Mersey Forest through partners with Cheshire West and Chester Council and the Natural Health Service have extended the Mindfulness in Nature programme to include courses at Frodsham, at Castle Parks Art Centre, running six courses during the year.

A new class was organised at the new park at Port Sunlight call 'River Park', looking over the Mersey with Liverpool on the sky line. Funding for this project was secured through Autism Together. We have had three courses with a further course booked in for March of next year.

All the courses have been over a eight week period with some remarkable changes in some of the students lives from improvement in sleep, confidence building, feeling calmer and more in control, enjoying being outside in nature, to feeling happier with their life both at home and at work.

We are hopeful that we can extend the number of courses available in the new year.

I am looking forward to a new adventure with the Mindfulness in Nature weekend next July at Grasmere. Pleased to say that the course is full and I'm taking names for a reserve list. With this in mind I have booked the venue for the following year 2021 at a similar date.

Just a few photos from the courses run in 2019 including the two Saturday retreats at Ainsdale Nature Reserve in April and September.
