Healthy Eating - A time for change
An ideal time to look at our eating habits and see if we can tweak them to feel more healthy
Here are a few suggestions that might help:
Plan your meals a few days in advance. May be stopping you having those ready made meals or takeaways.
Try and put down your knife and fork for the first few bites and savour your food mindfully, enjoy the taste, texture and smell of the food. Slowing down your eating may improve how the food is digested.
Have fruit for desert, instead of pudding, cake, biscuits etc
Eat at the table, not in front of the TV (you'll enjoy your food more and you'll notice when the full sign).
At work take a break from the computer, move away and enjoy the food and a break. You will feel more refreshed when you return and it may help your digestion
